"If we command our wealth, we shall be rich and free; if our wealth commands us, we are poor indeed."
By: Edmund Burke
Wealth can be a very good thing, but please don't let your wealth rule your life... And, do not become materialistic or please don't follow the philosophy of materialism.

Right you are, Teresa. The whole game is to command your resources instead of letting them make your decisions for you. Poverty does that: it can really be a bully. I remember a quote by a friend of Gandhi's who supposedly observed that "It took a lot of money to keep Gandhi in poverty." Of course, he could not have achieved what he did without many resources, but he had his reasons for keeping the temptations of money at a distance.
Congratulations on your new site. It looks great and I will stop in as often as I can. (I really love reading your ideas.) Just as an aside, I have always had a special place in my heart for both Teresa of Avila.
Thank you very much for the follow, your wonderful comment, and your compliment, Quite Rightly.
Your right, poverty can really be a bully. Poverty keeps you reliant on government as well as other people. That is a very interesting Gandhi quote.
